Fall Break

I had the best Fall Break last week. We planned to spend the long weekend in Chicago months ago, but a few weeks ago, I decided to brave the MegaBus again and get the city a few days early to spend some time with the Cranleys. I spent Wed night-Friday afternoon with Duke, Sarah, Max and Tessa. It was so fun to get to know the babies more and help with feedings, diapers, snuggle with the babies and catch up with my bf. Friday afternoon, Jason and the girls arrived. The girls finally got to meet "Maxie and Tessie" after hearing about them for so long. Friday evening we drove from the city to Elmhurst where we visited with the Gibsons and the Hunts. Laura and Matt were gracious to host us considering they are awaiting the arrival of Baby Girl Gibson #2 in less than a week! We caught up over pizza and let the kids play.

Saturday evening we (Gibson/Oskay crew) met the Coffey's at "Mickey Live". The girls all liked the show, especially the part when they got to share seats with eachother. Saturday night we stayed with the Coffeys in Wheeling and had a great time catching up with cousin Kaitlyn, Becky and Mike. Their house looks great and they continue to make changes/updates, etc. Becky and I were even able to make a quick trip to IKEA on Sunday after church to looks for some things we both needed....er..wanted.

It was a week/weekend filled with some of my favorite people in the world, couldn't imagine a better way to spend my Fall Break.
